Our Story
Anyone entering the crucial chapter of life, where they have to choose a certain career path, find themselves lacking a sense of direction. Our community is dedicated on providing a helping hand to shape the futures of our students, namely the Avengers of our lives - the doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. “The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow”, this inspirational pearl of wisdom by Nelson Mandela is our motto and reason for founding this non-profit organization - The Virtual Med Society.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be the platform that will assist you with your questions. We aim to do this by connecting you with experienced collaborators of doctors, med students, admission officers and high school students alike yourselves. We will put forward our rich variety of content with great rhapsody in the form of webinars and articles and hope to make your journey to medical school a memorable one.
Sanjana Mehrotra, Founder
I wish to serve the military by training to become a trauma surgeon and work in the war zone regions of Iraq and Syria. I do have an academic interest in multiple births and quite often find myself immersed in documentaries and books with a medical twist.

Hello! My name is Shazia, and I am an aspiring medical student, currently studying in Abu Dhabi. In the future, I wish to pursue a career in the field of cardiology, specifically to work as a cardiothoracic surgeon. Aside from studying, I like to spend my free time watching Netflix, napping and painting.

I wish to specialize in liver oncology and set up free clinics providing basic healthcare in remote areas. In my free time I like to watch documentaries and read about space. I love playing basketball and cricket. I’m adventurous and I love to explore new challenges that scare the potato out of me.

I’m a student who is extremely passionate about gynecology and one of my lifetime goals is to found a hospital that provides accessible and affordable, if not free, health care in rural parts. , I choose to spend it on my all-time favorite thing – horse riding. I find it very appealing because, to me, it serves as a great stress reliver.

the career path I want to take but I am contemplating between designing and accounting. I
also take interest in psychology and cardiothoracic fields of medicine.
But I have not decided on any field as of now!
Playing guitar, reading and dancing are my hobbies. I like to call my myself “tiktok queen”!

Trust me, it’s really hard to put my interests in a box so … I’m that guy who wants to learn and be everything. I like to think myself as a visionary, I always find ways to expand the horizons of a project and keep pushing its boundaries. I love exploring the cosmos and asking questions about the multiverse. I’m planning on pursuing astrophysics and honours in biology and maybe even in music.
